Our Studio

Crafty Eye Photographers

Rick Schlindler and Gerry Frierdich are the creative force at Crafty Eye. The late Jack Guciardo started the business in 1981, Gerry joined the studio in 1989, and Rick, who joined in 2000, operated his own studio for over 20 years. If you have a question for our photographers, Please feel free to Email the Photographers or Contact us via telephone. Inquiries via email are answered by one of our photographers, usually in 48 hours or less. Please note, all sales inquiries, appointment requests, or any other administrative concerns should be directed to the administrative staff, see the Contacts below.

Directions from Belleville:

Route 159 south, past Route 15, until Ross Lane.
Turn right onto Ross Lane. (Carpet Mart will be at this intersection)
Crafty Eye will be on left approx 1/4 mile down.

Directions from St. Louis:

I-64 east to I-255 south.
I-255 south to Route 15 east.
Route 15 east to Route 159.
Right turn onto Route 159 south.
Stay on 159 until Ross Lane.
Turn right onto Ross Lane. (Carpet Mart will be at this intersection)
Crafty Eye will be on left approx 1/4 mile down.

Our hours of operation are:



Tuesday-Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Closed Mondays.

Note: hours may be shortened on Saturday due to Wedding location shoots.
All other times by appointment only.
